One day I hope to be the person my dogs think I am.

It's an interesting design, for sure, tapering from a wide diameter at the mount to something somewhat less at the front.
There's no disguising its a plastic bodied lens, but interestingly it has a band of metal just in front of the pseudo manual focus ring - possibly to give a better feel factor, literally given metal is cold.
For a 45mm f1.8 optic the front element is quite small, certainly comparing it to the 75mm f1.8 which has an acreage of glass!
After a quick inspection for condition (WEX described it as having slight internal dust, but I can't detect any at all) all I could do was try it out indoors, in artificial light, and it snaps to focus in a fraction of a second, so on that basis alone gets very good marks.
I'm sure it will find application before too long.
