  • EPL2, VF2, 14-42 MSC R version.

OK this is a bit scary but I am going to sell my EPl-2 +other bits as a result of recent OMD purchase.

    1. red EPL-2 with all the bits and bobs and boxed. The only thing I do not seem to be able to put my hand on at the moment is the CD, but it must be here somewhere, so I will keep looking. I have the receipt, it was purchased last October with a two year warranty so I assume that can be transferred. Not sure how many actuations, if anybody can tell me how to find out I will check.

    2. 14-42 lens MSC R version in black. Came with the EPL2 so does not have its own box.

    3. VF2 black

    Hi Shirley,

What colour is the body please? May be interested in that alone or with the lens.

    Thanks.

      Hi David,

The red E-PL2 is normally, err......red!

            No interest?
Am I asking too much, is it because it's RED or are people no longer interested in this camera?

Shirley, without photos of your beautiful red e-pL2 you're not going to get as good a price or as much interest. Your thread's been up two days now and still no illustration.
Great camera, good lens, great viewfinder.
All quality products, just need better advertising.

              Free bump.

Ah OK. I must admit I don't take much notice of the pics as I reckon people could still hide any flaws they wish to hide, but I take your point. I am at work now but I will sort this out tonight. In the meantime if anybody is interested do PM me and we can negotioate subject to satisfactory pics.
                Thanks for the advice.

                  Re: EPL2, VF2, 14-42 MSC R version.

I think there are probably severel reasons for the lack of interest, Shirley.

                  1) Many people on here aleady have a Pen of some description, you might get more interest from the wider audience of ebay.

                  2) I'm sure red will put some people off, but I think it is a stylish red and not too bright. Also, it's a colour which works better with a smaller camera than a DSLR. Sure, it doesn't make it a stealth camera for candids but it does help you blend in as just another tourist taking snapshots. I think a picture would help, just so people can see how attractive the red is.

                  3) Members of this forum seem to be split into two camps, those who can afford the E-M5 (so why would they be interested in anything else at the moment) and those on really tight budgets who are making do with what they've already got at the moment.

                  4) You might get more interest if you split. There may well be another Pen owner who would like just the VF-2, or an E-PL1 owner who would like to upgrade but already has the EVF, or someone on a tight budget who could afford the camera as their first Pen, but not the viewfinder as well at this stage.

                  Good luck with the sale.
