  • FS: 12-60mm brand-new, unused & boxed w/ receipt - 600

    Hello all,

I had to buy a replacement e-3 body at short-notice last year and the only stock I could find was the e-3 w/12-60mm kit at PC World of all places As I already owned a 12-60mm, this lens has been sitting in my wardrobe gathering dust.

It's never been fitted to a body and it's only been taken out of the packaging to photo as per the attached - with the aforementioned 12-60mm, no less.

I'm based in the The City but it could also be collected from either SE8 or BR1. I'm afraid as I can see no secure way of sending such an item via post (and ensuring payment) it's collection only - please don't ask me otherwise.

Please 'private message' me or reply to this thread with your contact details if you'd like more details or would like to speak with me via phone.

    Regards,

    Thomas Hood

Indeed maybe trust is an issue here. Although as a new poster who has come onto this forum merely to sell an item maybe the doubt regarding trust should be reversed.

I normally don't bite. At the end of the day if a fellow forum member gets a good deal from someone who posts on here once and is never seen again, that is a good thing if they get to take photographs with a lens they would not otherwie get to own.

But to raise issues regarding the integrity of many of the members here to pay up for goods is a little insulting. I have dealt with several members here who have been exemplary in their behaviour and others who have gone out of their way to obtain stuff for me.

It's a great community here, if you stuck around to find out you'd realise that.

Nevertheless that is a good (if not great) price and the lens is a joy to shoot with.

I didn't mean to cast aspersions on the members of this forum - I apologise if it appeared that way.

I'm afraid I've been burnt dealing with people I've 'known' on forums before, hence my caution. I think anyone dealing blind would be foolish - be they the vendor or vendee and I think my offer to transact in person should erase any doubts as to my character.

I do think it's a good deal though:

      Regards,

      Tom
