    Nuthach v Chaffinch

    I didn't intend to take a video hence this wobbly, handheld offering, but I was amused by the feisty chaffy. The Nuthatch usually clears all the other birds off the peanut feeder (apart from woodpeckers) but this one wasn't intimidated.

    You got some interesting behaviour there, that Chaffinch had some nerve!

    I wondered why the Chaffinch didn’t just go to the other side of the feeder where it wouldn’t conflict with the Nuthatch, but you wouldn’t have captured this video then
