  • Some mono prints from w...a...y back, No1, picture heavy.

Came across these in a black bag in the loft, thought they may be of interest.

From way back, late 1970's - early 1980's from my wife and I.

We were members of the Hornchurch Photographic Society, I was print/slide secretary.

Cameras Nikon F2, F3 and Mamiya 6x6, images self processed.

    Film stock FP4.

Nothing fancy, I just put them on small table in front of the patio doors.

All prints in the order of 12" x 16"

These are mine, thread No2 is by my dear wife.

    Lovely shots Dave.
There is also something about film giving a timeless feel to the photos. Bit like analogue records although technically inferior to hi-res digital sound have their own magic about them that digital somehow lacks.
Not that I want to go back to film as too many downsides.

And another good set. You must have been pleased to come across these. As Miketoll says, there is a timeless quality to them.

Very nice Dave. Good to see Castle Combe in there.

          Very, very nice Dave
I like them all, particularly the simplicity of No.7
DON'T put them back in the loft, instead put them in an album and pop it on a bookshelf. Better still, display a few if you have room for they are very nice and as others have said have a 'timeless quality' to them

Very nice set. FP4 was my standard B&W stock.
