SOLVED OK - so which is which?

One image with the Panasonic S5 and the 20-60 lens at 28mm. The other with the EM1.3 with the 12-100 at 14mm. Both shot in raw at base ISO and processed to taste. I've tried to match framing, cropping, WB etc as much as possible, but there are differences. They are sized to 4500 px on the long edge. The Panasonic was originally 6000px across, the EM1.3 5184px. I think that the forum downsizes to 1600px though. You can find the full res ones on Flickr via the links given.

Seems to be more detail in distant objects in No 1 which is why I think it is the S5.
If I'm wrong then why would anyone buy anything else but Olympus/OM.

I looked and looked and they appeared identical. Then I realised I had opened Image 2 twice 🙄😁

The shadows influenced my vote.

With my luck a 50:50 choice means there is a 90% chance of me getting it wrong. So I'll abstain

I have no idea which is which, but on my phone second has slightly nicer details in the shadow IMO

Purely on the basis of the shadows under the trees on the right, I have plumped for the first being the Oly, the second being the Panny. Of course it is entirely possible that this is because of processing differences, including the software applying profiles before Paul even started tweaking the sliders.

Whatever the reason, I don't see a lot of difference between them in this shot.

I think image 2 is the Olympus because the tree on the left has more detail at the very edge of the picture and the Oly lens is the better lens. Really, they are very hard to distinguish.

I really struggled to see any significant differences but went for no1 being the Panasonic S5. Purely based on the colour tones in no1 being a bit cooler.

I find it very difficult to tell one from the other. But I do find the colour tones on Image 2 to be a bit richer and more in keeping with what I've come to expect from Olympus. So I voted Image 1 as the S5.

No doubt I'll be proved to be wrong. 🤣

The detail is very similar. The warmer tones made me think 2 was Oly, but there's more shadow detail in 2, so maybe you've tricked us?! Also, I see you've now deleted 1 from Flickr...

I thought 2 was Panasonic as a little more detail in foreground shadows but they are both very close.
