been out for a hour or so today practicing my b.i.f techniques , today was just a local trip but it threw up a few things that I wasn't happy with so heres the shots from today that actually worked .... the problem I encountered today was its a old dock inlet so one second the birds are in bright sunlight next there up in bright skies then next in to the shade ..so I found that a fixed 800 iso didn't cope with those quick changes and when in shadow shutter speed completely went out of the window .. all other settings i.e quick change from single to multi point worked great . so I got a good hit rate on the birds but lower shutter speed made some of them softer than required .
to get over it (not yet tested ) I have changed back to auto i.s.o and dialled in via cog menu a minimum shutter speed of 1/2000th sec that may be fine or I may be to high but I would rather deal with noisy files than soft or oof ones . heres two from today that did work though so its basically work in progress
