  • for mark and Phil to peruse

after a couple of comments from both mark and Phil I thought I might as well post a few owls in flight shots to keep them happy . and to make sure the game is equal all shots will be with olympus bodies and MFT lenses so here goes owls in flight, short eared and barn owls . lots of other shots on my flickr stream were with canon or nikon gear ,and all shots were a 20 minute drive from home (only 3 miles away in reality ) but a estuary gets in the way LOL

O...M...G Completely stunning. So inspiring to me. I've never set out to shoot birds (with a camera!) but these and other forum members' BIF photos are seriously inspiring... Thank you!

Pretty impressive Jeff. You'll be telling us that was all done on the same day next Really lovely to see. Haven't seen our local owls for some weeks now, hopefully they are still around.

No but on a good day if they start to hunt early you can get a few hundred shots in before dark . In actual fact I do think a few of those are from January 1st 2020

just did a check on my Flickr stream and I processed 19 s.e.o shots on 1.1.20 most in flight so probably a couple of hundred un.edited one

not that far from you my mate paul bennet from glossop was there today with me

Are you prepared to reveal where you are shooting these Jeff? PM reply is great if you'd prefer not to broadcast the location.

A super set Jeff, I must pull my finger out and find out where they fly down here in South Wales...🔜
