Hey I got my image in a magazine!!!

Well not really but on page 18 of the last issue (not the latest one) of Amature Photographer they showed a shot of Wyming Brook and it had the same rocks in the stream as one of mine! Their view was a bit closer in and a few degrees straighter angle but it's definitely the very same spot. Interestingly they blurred the water a lot more than I did and really boosted the red and yellow colours in processing. So closest I get to a claim to fame .

I agree Dave . Well actually I suspect they had a lengthy printing deadline so were probably first. Strange they got a lot more orange leaves on the rocks though!?

Where is your photo? Or maybe you can go back there and use the digital ND and just do it.

It's on the Wyming Brook post Henry. I can't post the magazine one for copyrite reasons. Oh and the fact I couldn't actually get a copy myself as the local shops had changed their edition before I found out about it. The friend I was with on the day showed it to me.

Reminds me of the mag, Outdoor photography. They have a 'Locations' section where readers can send in images of different locations, there used to pay but now only one gets a prize. I have seen a few shots of locations that.I had been at before they published other images very similar to mine. And in a couple of instances I thad thought of sending mine in, but didn't.
