Thanks Paul. Like you I'd love it but that price! I'm sure it's justified for what it does but I just can't convince myself to spend that on a hobby for me. I'm sure it will go to a good home.

Alan IS the owner of a very nice lens as of 13:20hrs today.
Bit of a fraught morning as I had been promised delivery from WEX on Saturday morning. Tracking said that it would be delivered between 10:20am and 11:20am but at 11:30am, tracking said that delivery had been attempted but unsuccessful - a card had been left. Not so 😡.
A call to Parcelforce and I was told that somebody from the delivery depot would get back to me "shortly". No call received so I rang again to find that everything stops at 12:30pm - it all goes to an automated service. 😡😡.
By this time, I was resigned to calling again on Monday and potentially waiting in.
Knock at the door and the delivery driver is there with a massive box (which didn't weigh much). Said he had to log the parcel status it before the allocated delivery time so that he wasn't penalised and that he was late because he had to take his van for its MOT - the depot knew all about it. 😡😡😡. I'm have every sympathy with the driver who must be self employed and subject to some pretty harsh targets by the sound of it but Parcelforce - at least my local depot - need to improve.
End of the day, all is well with thanks to Paul for the way he dealt with WEX in order to transfer the order to me yesterday. It was all a bit of a faff but I'm VERY happy with the results.
Best start taking pictures now. No lens pictures as I suspect everybody knows what it looks like. 😊😊😊😊
