  • Weather grrrrr

I thought by now after a week I would be pretty well versed on the mkiii and ready to input some custom settings , but with the weather as it has been this week I’ve not yet had field time to be confident with correct settings , hopefully get out later today for some practise shots

I just came back through the upper Eden Valley and the car's thermometer showed 6C in Mallerstang. I think it was warmer than that in February!

I'm creating a 'potager' (veg patch) at the moment - removing turf (very hard work). The sun is actually shining at the moment but it's really blowing a gale and has been raining on and off all day.

The grass is growing. I shall have to get the mower out in between showers to keep it down.

Spent last week on holiday in Cornwall 1 day without having to wear full waterproofs walked the cost path Polperro to Fowey on what was the worst weather that I have been in for many a year Pencarrow head just outside Polrun winds gust to 60mph and sideways rain. Thankfully Olympus gear is designed for just such weather 😁

I was worried that we'd turned this into a weather discussion. Glad to hear you are going to use the camera soon

just been down the estuary ( 5 minutes away) to check out that cluster focus . its good when it hits but not as precise as I like so changed it back to 5 points for now .. but see what tomorrow brings .. taking me longer to gel with the mkiii TBH probably to many options

            Why worry ?

Very few threads on here stick to the original topic. The forum needs all the posts it can get. It's all conversation and makes for interesting reading
