  • Master of Photography TV Programme

Wifey found a Photo programme for me Master of Photography. We are watching it on NOW TV, but I think its a Sky programme. Its the usual TV knockout formulae, bit like the baking programme etc.

Quite interesting, started with I think 10 photographers, some amateur, some professional, and they are given a task each week, and produce one to three photos for three judges to adjudicate. Based in UK and Europe so far. They seem to be camera brand independent, they just choose what they want out of a camera store from the programme, Leica and Canon I've seen, alas no Olympus yet..

The resulting winner wins 150,000 euro, shame I did not know it was on...................:-))

Hiya think there have been 4 series so far. Is this a new series? I think it was on terrestrial TV originally when I watched it last year. There are some pretty tough/varied challenges on there, which I really like. Its good that contestants come from different backgrounds opposed to all being academics.
One challenge which they repeat is a shoot at the family home towards the end.
    All the gear no idea

It's on Sky Arts channel. I missed it today but don't have the right subscription to do catch up on this. Will watch the one next week.
    Thanks for the info.

Yes I seem to remember it got pretty universally panned on social media when it first came out. Will go and have a look now it's on Freeview.
