      Thank you. I used a really solid tripod and manfrotto junior geared head. Shutter delay. Focussed using magnifier. Made sure i did not over expose the bright areas around the craters. The image would have been better at a lesser moon phase and higher elevation. Cheers stu

          Thank you. It shows how good the zuiko legacy lenses were. The 300mm f4.5 can be got quite cheaply second hand. Im going to try it with my 2x teleconverter next time to see if I can get a bit more detail. Cheers stu

            To get a single shot of the moon without any cropping, you need about 950mm (1960mm FOV)

            It's really satisfying when you get it.

            Here is what I got at 980mm
