Nice "lost photos" story

There is a nice story starting to do the rounds about a discovery of some old photos that were on an exposed but undeveloped film in an old camera that someone had bought at a charity shop:

Ian Scott, who developed it, runs our excellent photo lab here, Salisbury Photo Centre: https://www.salisburyphotocentre.co.uk/ . He really enjoys challenges like this and was recently in the news for a similar story. Apparently ITN had a film crew in the shop this morning to cover this one.

A little while back one of our members (sorry, I've forgotten who it was) found an old cassette somewhere and wondered if there was anything on it. I suggested posting it to Ian, and he did, but sadly in that case there was nothing recognizable on it. I think Ian was every bit as disappointed as our member who had found the film!

Pretty sure I have a roll of 120 film which for some reason never got developed. It's so old I haven't a clue what's on it, I recon it must be 60 years old.

Send it to Ian's lab and find out! Actually I'm amazed that there was anything left to salvage on a film that old.
