  • Interesting video on long exposure photography

It's good to see more photographers showing off what they're achieving with OM System kit.

Interesting. He uses his new magnetic wonder filters and loves them. He certainly doesn't use a remote control or the phone app to activate the shutter . . .

If you have a very stable tripod, it not necessary to use a remote. You can as mentioned, a delay timer.

Yes that was interesting, I like his black and white shots.

He said he used a 2 second timer. I do that or just a gentle touch on the screen. I have found if taking a focus stack in camera there is no way to set a 2 second delay, unless I’ve missed a setting somewhere. The phone app also has a remote trigger mode using Bluetooth I think.

One of my old tricks for making the tripod more stable is to use a “tent peg” and string, to anchor it down….

Can anyone tell me where those cliffs are? Though I’m over here in Canada, I lived in the UK for 3 years and didn’t come across those cliffs. Somewhere near the Humber estuary?

The maker of that video Chris Baitson makes excellent mft content, he really spurred my interest in the system, so much so that I now own the OM-5 and the OM-1mk2.
