after a few quiet long discussions via the messages section on here with two other members , regarding lenses and what to buy taking into account weight , sharpness, price etc I came to the conclusion I was missing something from my arsenal . I miss the zoom on the 100-400 but it did have a couple of issues in use , so ruled that out , the 40-150 f 2.8 I liked but couldn't get on with the fiddly lens hood and lack of range even with t.c .. and both were to pricey anyway .. the new sigma 150-600 was looked at but weight and price again ruled it out . all the while trying to guide others with there choices as well ..
having just bought a 50mm four thirds macro and a EC-14 tc helped in my personal choice as I already own the adaptor for MFT . my final recommendation to the other two was a four thirds 50-200 SWD as being the best bang for bucks choice left . this led me to review shots I had taken when I previously owned one back in the days when I used the 1-mkii body .. while we conversed in messenger I had earmarked a couple on evil bay to show the others ,but last night temptation got the better of me and I bought one from ffordes at a good price ,should be here before the new year . couple from my previous one to show I made the right choice
