This article on the Amateur Photographer site got me thinking about AI tools for PP, it is looking at tools in Photoshop and Lightroom which I don’t have
In CaptureOne Pro which I use there is an AI masking feature and in DxO PureRaw I use the AI noise reduction.
The article mentions AI generative fill and expand. I would find these useful as for some wildlife shots I end up with the subject too close to the edge of the frame and want to generate more space expanding the frame - and it’s not always sky!
For some scenic shots I end up with space I want to fill if I do a pano stitch or rotations and keystone corrections.
I have fiddled around with masks and cloning in CaptureOne but its AI generative tooling is quite limited - just to generating masks.
Does anyone use AI features like this in other software? I need to check if the latest version of Affinity has anything like this - I know it has a context aware fill type of tool in my current version. I could just switch to Lightroom when my C1Pro license is up for renewal!
