It's interesting Ian but how do I get 55k photos from LR to anywhere?

Photopea works in the web browser but your files stay local to you pc/mac

      "Fully Local

There are no uploads. Photopea runs on your device, using your CPU and your GPU. All files open instantly, and never leave your device."

Lightroom holds a catalogue of your photos and details of the changes you've made to them, not the photos themselves.

It just looks like a Photoshop clone/alternative to me.

Very few things are free nowadays!! Presume there are ads to deal with? Probably an 'upgrade' fee for some of the more useful aspects of the programme?

Can Photopea access processing previously done in LightRoom? I suspect not but perhaps someone can confirm.

It doesn't replace Lightroom going on the information on that page. In the comments someone asked "How does this program sort, organize, file, keyword tag, GPS tag, face tag, stack, rate, and group files?" and to date there's no answer.
