  • Fake 'lifetime' Adobe software licences

I'm seeing a lot of fake ads for lifetime licences purported to be for Adobe Creative Cloud apps, including Lightroom, Photoshop, and the rest.

There is no such thing as a lifetime licence for such Adobe products, now - these are cracked software codes, and so they are both fraudulent and liable to become unusable once Adobe responds. Don't be fooled by Facebook discussions with swooning customers and highly appreciate representatives from companies selling these licences. It will all end in tears.

    Beware!

That's interesting Ian. I got an Adobe update email on another account that I didn't think had access to the Adobe cloud services yesterday. I did wonder if it was a scam. I'll take a closer look thanks for the tip off.

Adobe Photoshop Elements and Adobe Premiere Elements have only ever been sold by Adobe with lifetime licences and still are. These are good starter products.

But be warned that fake copies of these too are also sold by scammers, for example offering "licence sent by email".
