Photoscape X

Just came across this FREE RAW editor.

It comes in a version for Windows 10 and one for Mac.

There is a chargeable Pro version but the trial version is not time limited and has most of the features anyone needs.

I've dabbled with Raw Therapee (also available for Linux). It seems pretty competent, but I've not done much with it.

Me too, but I found Raw Therapee to offer almost too many ways to tweak your image. The sheer number of sliders is off putting for many people.
Its wavelet sharpening tools are however very powerful.

Cant really complain when they are both free.
