  • CS / Elements / lightroom confusion

http://e-group.uk.net/forum/showthread.php?t=9466), but at the time I was planing on getting an E520, but I went for an E600 and I believe not all versions recognise this model? Does this affect my choice?

    Thanks

I've been using an old version of photoshop (7), but that doesn't process RAW so I want to upgrade - ideally without spending a fortune -

    Thanks

Thanks Paul, That's definately a help as layers/changing backgrounds is an absolute must for me, so I can cross lightroom off the list.

Re: CS / Elements / lightroom confusion

        Chris,
Like you I have an E-600. I use CS3 but it doesn't recognise the E-600 and the Adobe Camera Raw 6.1 plug-in that does is only compatible with CS5 or Photoshop Elements 9. So to get the E-600 images working with CS3 I have to convert the files from Oly E-600 ORF to DNG using the Adobe free of charge DNG converter.

Jamie the problem here is that PhotoShop 7 which Chris has does not have a raw converter (ACR) built in, so even conveting to DNG will do Chris no good.
