Originally posted by theMusicMan View PostHi John - well, to be totally honest, if you are using LR3 and you like that, I'd stick with it. I use LR3 and nothing else now... not even CS3/5. Re: Advice on Adobe CS3
Originally posted by theMusicMan View PostAh yes, for that you will need Elements or CS. Have you thought of looking at the GIMP...? It's a free graphics app, similar to CS, and I know Nick TF uses it a lot, and is very often singing its praises. He seems to get super images from it... might be worth a look?Olympus E3] [E300] OMD-M5 12.50mm] ZD [40.150] ZD [14.45] ZD 50.200] ZD [14.54] ZD [35macro] ZD [11.22] ZD [1.4x EC- 14] ZD [EX-25] [RM. Re: Advice on Adobe CS3
Don't forget to look at Paintshop Pro as well.
Since Corel have bought it they have added a lot of new features and I still find some jobs are an awful lot easier because of the better workflow
CS3/4/5 are great when you need real power, but sill don't class as well designed software IMO

Re: Advice on Adobe CS3
If it's any help Edmund and does not confuse you more, I have Capture One 5, Silkypix Developer Pro and Lightroom 3 raw programs, plus CS3 and Elements 9.
Capture One 5 gets the most use for raw conversion and CS3 gets no use at all now since getting Elements 9 .Regards Paul.
One day I hope to be the person my dogs think I am.
