    filing

    I use LR 2, just getting to grips with LR 3 on an imac running OX 10.6.
    I import my pics onto two external HD's.
    I want to save my keepers to another external HD.
    Should I save as tiff or jpg?
    I reckon edited tiff but before I start moving files around, if anyone knows better could you let me know. (I have done stuff I thought was for the best before and then found out it wasn't the best at all!)

    Personally I tend to save everything (Not family photos or photos my wife wants for Facebook etc) as DNG from Lightroom. And I've built a hierarchy based on Adobe Bridge with keywords, dates etc.

    Backup on the house server and one backup on an external HD that is only taken out for backup every forthnight.
