I guess we'll never see the 500 mm f/5.6 they prototyped.
It's the image that's important, not the tools used to make it.

Don't panic Mr. Mannering, it's only the 4/3 variety that's getting ditched.
It's not what inspires us that is important, it's where the journey takes us.

Hopefully all my four thirds lenses will now rocket up in value. Somehow I don't think they will.

              Very misleading thread title.

That pdf is very interesting with some lenses I was not aware of shown.

The Entaniya fisheye mft 2.3 mm is unusual reminds me of the zuiko OM 8mm f2.8

The Kowa prominar 90mm f2.5 macro really interests me especially if is decent quality with good Manual focusing.

I suppose you could say they were discontinued in 2002 when Olympus finally pulled the plug on the OM system after it had been on life support for a decade or so.

I'm guessing the OP is refering to Zuiko Digital glass.

Or rather, to the original Zuiko Digital Four-Thirds lenses.

Yes, he's referring to "Zuiko" as distinct from "M.Zuiko".

Yes, the Kowa does look interesting. I noticed that there's now no mention of the Schneider Kreuznach primes that were supposed to be in development two years ago. There was a 60mm macro in the Schneider listing.

An M Zuiko would be an early OM Zuiko with 13 lens elements, M being the thirteenth letter in the alphabet. The current lenses are M.Zuiko Digital. To be replaced by M.M.Zuiko Digital when Olympus drops Micro Four Thirds for Mini Micro Four Thirds.

The PDF displays very badly on my monitor. Looks like a poor choice of font.
