Unfortunately; but I would have thought a Pro lens would have come complete with this part. But with some lenses being supplied without a lens hood maybe this is the way things are going. The strange thing I find is that Olympus do not seem to stock the item! Their agents usually have to order them in and I wonder who they get them from and why a plastic ring is so expensive. Maybe a job for members with a 3D printer?

The Beagletorque DR66 x. Arrived this am it is a very good fit and aesthetically pleasing to the eye the straight knurled pattern fits into the lens design very well. The black plastic used works well with the original lens colour
