Sigma 30mm f1.4
Can anyone please give me their experiences of this lens (good or bad) as I am finding myself tempted to buy one!

I can't offer first hand experience of this particular lens but I can strongly recommend Sigma Len's I have the Sigma 10-20 and the 18-50 f/2.8 both are superb and could highly recommend both I think the 18-50 is far better than the Oly 14-45 and 14-42, very crisp and f2.8 across the range. I also have the Sigma 150mm Macro and 50-500 Bigma. So as you can see I like Sigma's.Barrie Norman

I have one and I love it, Sigma is known for less than perfect quality control so buy from someone who will take it back if it is not right, I didn't but mine is very good, don't know for sure if I was just lucky or are sigma's QC issues overstated

Barrie Norman you stated that the sigma 18-50 is superior to the oly standard kit zooms, I would be interested in your experiences with the 18-50.Comment

this is a good lens - but not a great lens (IMO)
I have a good copy and, following fw1.4, it's absolutely stunning AF in my E3 - but it remains under par at F1.4 v HG and SHG glass.
AF is fast and quiet though...E, Pen and OM-D bodies
