Lens cap for m.zuiko 12-45 f4

My son has bought the OM-5 with the 12-45 F4 kit lens. However, whilst on holiday in the UK, they've managed to lose the lens cap.

When I bought my OM-5, I went for the f2.8 so I'm assuming it doesn't have the same lens cap. From a quick Google, it looks to me as if it should be 58mm but please could someone put me right, if necessary, before I press the button to buy a replacement on Prime? He arrives here on Sunday.

Well, it does take a 58mm filter. - See photo below. So I presume that would be the correct size for a lens cap.

After a trip to Finland and loosing an original lens cap, I have switched to JJC pinch caps. All them EXPENSIVE originals are kept safely. I have also switch to generic lens hoods. (Yes, I am paranoid )

Exactly! Any generic cap will do, they're all pretty much the same anyway.
Just to add, all my lenses have generic front and rear caps fitted with the original caps safe in the original boxes.

Buy it Via E Bay. Much cheaper.

Generic ones. That original 12-40/2.8 falls apart easily.

I stock them. Yes, I am careless hence loosing them generic ones won't feel the pinch.
