  • Om 20mm F1.4 Pro lens.

I have read some good reviews of the om 20mm F1.4 lens. I think it would be quite versatile in low light.

Has any one any experience of using it? If so what are your thoughts?

Could be tempted here. It is not too pricey at about ยฃ650...

I am not out there looking to shoot minimum DOF shots
I shoot landscapes and buildings and the only prime lenses I have are macro or playing about for fun.

Looking at the longer term reviews it seems that the lens suffers from chromatic aberrations. Particularly purple and green in high contrast shots. So perhaps a lens to avoid, I may see what Om have to say through their forum.

Not a focal length that appeals to me, seems a strange one to pick as your first new branded lens.
          Wonder if it sells well?

I didn't know OM System had their own forum. Is it linked off their web page or can you tell me the URL?

Oh FB group. You said forum so that's why I asked. Yeah, I'm a member of it.

Itโ€™s still a forum of sorts but nowhere near as useful as a true one like this๐Ÿ˜€๐Ÿ˜€๐Ÿ˜€
