Has anyone here compared the two lenses? SWMBO has my EM1 and the 14-150 as her carry around and is very happy with it except the mk1 lens is not waterproof.. so do I “upgrade” to the my 2 version or the 12-200?

Sorry, this is not really a comparison as such but just my experience on making the choice. I was on the fence about getting the 14-150mm as I already had the lightweight 40-150mmF/4-5.6 but I thought the additional wide end would stop me having to switch lenses all the time between the 14-42mmEZ and the 40-150mm. Having used the 12-50 kit lens I appreciated the extra 2mm at the wide end over both the 14-150mm and the 14-42mm so when the 12-200mm became available I purchased one and have been very happy with it. I did not find the extra size and weight of the 12-200mm over the 14-150mm burdensome but really liked the range. Most used: EM5i + 12-200mm, In briefcase: E-PM2 + 12-42mmEZ
Film Kit OM4Ti + Vivitar Series 1 (OM fit ) 28-105mm F/2.8-3.8, Sigma III (OM fit) 75-200mm F/2.8-3.5, Vivitar Series 1 (OM fit) 100-500mm, Zuiko 50mm F/1.2

It depends on what you want to photograph and how much you're willing to pay. Those of us with the 12-100 are very happy with it. The IQ is vastly better than the 14-150.David
