has anyone experienced focus settings becoming greyed out in the menu? This sometimes happens to me and the lenses wont focus! When I reset the camera it'll start working again. I was wondering if there was a fault somewhere or that it does this under certain lighting conditions?

My guess is that when this happens the lens is failing to communicate with the body. Try cleaning the electrical contacts, particularly on the lens but also on the body. Also inspect the contacts on he lens for damage.Originally posted by Snowdales View PostJohn
