Out with the E5, still impressive

Dusted off an E5 yesterday and took it to WWT Slimbridge along with the old 14-42 and 40-150 lenses. Great fun and the gear still performs. Love the thud of the shutter.

Only 12 megapixels, but 12 damn good megapixels 👍

I wonder how much we get caught up with the more is better (megapixels) and other seemingly essential improvements.

I used to have a Canon 30D which was 8 megapixels and it took some of the best photos I still have hanging (enlarged) on my wall. Quality trumps specs in my humble opinion.

A good eye, good glass, reliable shutter and a responsive meter - that's ultimately all that's needed for good piccies and your delightful images go to show just how much life is left in those Four Thirds gems.
