E-5 back from service centre BUT!!

I have received my E-5 back from the service centre (shutter fault). But it now will not work with the HLD-4! I don't know what they have or have not done, but it will have to go back. A massive inconvience, not happy. Just sent a email to the service centre.

That's a bit of a ****** - hope that it's sorted out quickly and efficiently as it seems rare for the Olympus servicing to add problems!
Most negative issues relating to the HLD-4 seem to be linked to poor contacts/failure of the HLD-4 contact circuit board that in some cases have to be replaced by Olympus service or by the tripod plate in the camera being slightly loose and therefore meaning that the contacts aren't connecting properly.
