  • Black AF dots in viewfinder

Looks like I'll be the first to post under this heading. I ve just bought a 410 which I'm surprised to see has three little black dots in the viewfinder which, I guess, represent the AF points. My E1 and E330 don't have these just the red light on focus lock. I'm not sure if this really bothers me or not yet - time will tell - but it seems they are meant to be there. Anyone else have any thoughts or opinions on these?

The dots show a much clearer AF beacon than before. You soon get used to it. The E-3 has 11 little squares in the finder...

Maybe I will get used to the dots but right now I still can't believe they're there. Does the E3's 11 little boxes have 11 little black dots?

These are the dots in case anyone was wondering what I meant - sorry for the poor snap.
