finding shutter actuations e-30

could someone please give me step by step directions to find out the shutter
count on the e-30? the used market here in the states is looking better. just found a used e-30 for about 1/3 the price of the e-5.
and right now the larger view finder and swivel screen for the price i paid for my e-520 kit looks pretty good.

have looked through the forum and found things like poor focus problems and fuzzy view finder, in early models.
anything else i should pay special attention to?
