PEN F hi-res "macro"

So, you need a tripod for the Hi-res mode. And that lends itself to landscape - apart from those bits of landscape that move.

I wonder if you can use Hi-res for macro (well - just close up in this case, but the principle is the same)...

So - depending on subject - yes you can make a giant print from a macro

Yes, I suspect it might be my sharpest lens. Somewhere I have an old Amateur Photographer lens test chart - I must do a shootout to compare the 12mm f2, the Panasonic 20mm f1.7 and the 45mm f1.8

The 45 seems sharp but it does suffer from longitudinal aberration wide open.

I generally check the test results at slrgear.com because they seem to agree with my own experiences. They show those three lenses with similar performance at f4 though they do look different wide open.
