    OM Zuiko Auto-S 50mm F1.8 - n0ob question

    Hi,

    i've had my OM-D E-M5 for a few months and have recently bought
    the above lens and M4/3 adaptor.

    quick question, in the IS menu, do I set the focal length at 50 or 100mm?

    Welcome to the forum. It is a 50mm lens therefore you need to set 50.

      wasn't quite sure whether any crop factor would need to be

            My only experience of this lens is when I had my OM2 system (which I'm buying back into!). Common wisdom suggests that the longer manual lenses aren't as good on m4/3 bodies. But for £40, why not just try it?
