  • First Photos from OM-D

    Hi,

New to this Forum after selling all my Canon { Heavy} gear!

Couple of pics of my Grandaughter!

45mm lens. Window light. I have Printed these to A3+ ( 329mm X 483mm ) and am quite pleased with the results!

I have the 75mm and 12mm but have not tried them yet!

    What do you think?

    Terry.

Both good, but the first for me, that smile is priceless. Welcome to the world of Olympus, hope your stay is a long and enjoyable one. really good to see someone changing systems this way for a change.
The picture tells the story, great when you have a bad memory.DW.

Hi Terry and welcome. The camera and lens have obviously done a great job but more importantly so has the photographer. You won't neccesarily get better pictures with the OM-D but your back and neck will certainly thank you! Chosing between the two pictures, both are very nice but I'd go for No 1.

Two very nice portraits Terry. I like the B&W best too.

A warm welcome to the group, we're building up quite a few Essex members now.

              Talk about coincidences;

              We both live in Essex.
              We both have EM-5 + 45mm.
We both have a Granddaughter called Maisie.

              Here's my Maisie.

              Peter

she looked at me and said "It's official. I hate your camera. It's just so amazing and perfect I want one!"

Both are very good , but the pastel colour's and her charming shyness shine through for me in the colour one..well done.

And isn't grand having Granddaughters to photograph .
                    Regards Paul.
One day I hope to be the person my dogs think I am.
