  • Using camera in portrait mode, buttons not working.

    I wondered if anyone else had experienced the same issue with their E-M1X.

    Was using the camera yesterday all working fine, both in landscape mode and in portrait mode. I went take some more shots in portrait mode and none of the buttons relating to using the camera in this angle were working... (shutter release, iso, joystick, auto focus etc).

    Tried the obvious of changing sense, batteries, switching off etc...

    Any Ideas?

    If it is like other models with a grip attached there is a switch to lock the buttons I.e. stop them functioning, have you moved that?

      That would be my suggestion, too.

    I can't see anything obvious and had a check of the manual.. As well as checking anything in the menus. It was working fine, then just stopped.

      +1 for the little lock lever near where thumb goes in portrait mode.

      has had me confused on several occasions.
