Quick test of focus stacking

Here's a quick test of the focus stacking feature. First shot is a single one at f2.8 with the 60mm macro. Second is a stack of 9 raw images done with Helicon Focus. That's quite an impressive program - but it ain't cheap.

The in-camera stacking is very useful to figure out the nr of shots and the increment to use.

Paul,
On my monitor, both the "one shot" & Picolay version of your cube shows some curious faint green swirls on the right hand side - it almost looks like an old ink spillage on the desk top. This does not appear on the Helicon version.
Did you PP the Helicon version to remove it, or does the Helicon software do clever stuff?

What's the all-important EXIFs on the above images (your image hosting site says 'JFIFVersion - 1.01' whatever that means!).
