Now I can't remember if I saw one of these in the box when it was delivered, and I seem to remember that my old E600 had one, but for the life of me I cannot find this cable.....would like to upload the update for the camera, any suggestions?? That's the trouble as you get older...your brain goes like mushy peas !!

The OM-D EM-1 doesn't use a standard mini USB cable. You should have got one with your camera. I have posted pictures of the cable I received with my M1 and a Mini-USB connection to show the difference.

The cable you want is a CB-USB 6. Here is a link but I'm not vouching for the quality or its performance.

Call me a coward, but since that cable is used for firmware updates, and a goofed firmware update could brick the camera, I'd stick with genuine Oly parts for this particular cable.
