  • E-M1 MkIII USB Power and Charging - video

I just got a MkIII and wanted to know what I could use for charging and power over USB. In short, not just any USB charger or power pack I might having lying around, I will need to spend about £100 on another accessory. This video by Rob Trek cleared things up for me and he has some product links in the description

The specs were pretty clear on the type of external USB power supply you needed (i.e. voltage aad current combinations). The problem is that USB-C power delivery has stepped supply values that must be negotiated between supply and demand and will top out when either one hits its max designed value... and in the case of the power supply this may not be high enough. I just wish the E-M5iii could run from an external power supply (as opposed to only charging the battery).
    Most used: EM5i + 12-200mm, In briefcase: E-PM2 + 12-42mmEZ
    Film Kit OM4Ti + Vivitar Series 1 (OM fit ) 28-105mm F/2.8-3.8, Sigma III (OM fit) 75-200mm F/2.8-3.5, Vivitar Series 1 (OM fit) 100-500mm, Zuiko 50mm F/1.2
