Has anyone had an OM-1 or other OM camera repaired in the UK? The plastic frame around the viewfinder on my OM-1 has cracked (traumatic injury) and needs replacing. Camera is working fine.
Genuine OM System eyecup for use with the OM System EOM-1 digital cameras. Helps to prevent stray light entering the viewfinder, particularly useful when doing long exposure shots.
If it is the plastic frame that this clips to then it back to Portugal as OM system stopped suppling companies like Luton Cameras with spare parts. I damaged this on an old Em-1.............
Might be worth giving a.j.johnson in Glasgow a bell ,, they handle o.m.s repairs for h.dew and panamoz and last time I spoke to them ,( not long ago) they had no problem obtaining spares

OM don't supply them with parts any longer! An email from them said "On January 1, 2021 the Imaging Division of Olympus Corporation (cameras, audio recorders and binoculars) split to form its own Corporation: OM Digital Solutions Corporation. OM Digital Solutions Corporation have decided not to supply parts."
