  • OM 1 setting ISO range for auto ISO

Hi, new here and hoping for a solution to my problem from one of you.In the menu Section 1 page 3 I should be able to set max upper limit for auto ISO. It will not allow me to set above 800. And yes, I do have the manual & Dax Smith's video.
Still none the wiser! Any suggestions welcome.

Are you using silent shutter mode?

I think the shutter mode affects it maybe. If I have SH2 mode for the shutter the max upper ISO range I can set is 12800. So I set it to silent sequential low and set upper Auto ISO range to 25600 like Ian has, then I set my shutter mode back to SH2. I can’t find anything about these limits in the manual so far.

But I think an upper limit of ISO 800 isn't right...

Yes it seems strange. Live ND is the only thing I know that restricts max ISO to 800. Maybe some of the other computational modes too like HDR.

Thanks both for replying. My first thought was that Bill had probably solved it but the camera is set, at the moment, to silent single.

Do you have LiveND enabled by any chance? That limits upper ISO to 800 and it will also limit the Auto ISO upper config. Worth a check on Camera 2 menu page 1.

Aaaaaaaaaaaaah! Yes, been indulging in ICM and left the ND filter on. Many thanks.

Glad it’s sorted. They ought to have a something in the menus saying why these ranges are restricted, similar to what they have to tell you why menus are greyed out.
