  • Playback problem

Has anyone experienced the playback button not always functioning properly and activating the shutter instead?
Would a camera reset be useful?
As an aside, can playback be assigned to another button?

That's new to me. Anyone else?

A reset wood be my suggestion unless you have st if custom setups to lose.

I’ve not seen that. My usual problem with playback is accidentally touching the shutter button which drops me out of reviewing photos. Do you have the grip attached at all? Just wondering if the shutter is being activated at the same time somehow, with the grip attached the chance is potentially doubled.

BDennis Mine too, particularly if I am using the dial to zoom in on the playback image

Glad I'm not the only one.
It may be more likely for me if I am looking through the EVF. Though I'm not certain. More testing needed before I try the reset approach.

My frustration with playback, is that if the sensor below the EVF is shaded, the playback switches off.

I think I can switch off that sensor, so maybe that will sort me out.

Re the grip, you can "lock" those extra buttons, so they won't respond to an accidental touch. I have not locked them out, and don't have a problem with them...

To stop the playback being affected by the EVF Light sensor, you need to unfold the back screen....
