Re: Still image extracted from a 4K video
This feature of the Panasonic GH4 which was the big decision between the Panny and Oly for me, I decided I didn't take enough video and plumped for the Oly, given the PRO lens line up (and my belief that Oly lenses work best on Oly bodies and vice versa - the 300 f4 has justified this belief)
I'm stunned at what can be achieved by some of the cameras...Paul
Retired and loving it.

Re: Still image extracted from a 4K video
4k (as opposed to 4 Kelvin
) offers many opportunities. Imagine it in the hands of someone like HC-B! When the technology improves, as it will, it's going to potentially see off DSLRs!
Now 4K photography, that will be interesting. May get to witness some weird quantum effects.

Re: Still image extracted from a 4K video
Olympus are nearly there. The latest cameras (E-M5 MKII and E-M10 MKII) can produce 4K time lapse sequences and store raw,JPEG and time lapse movie files for each sequence.
