Better still: http://fourthirds-user.com/2010/11/p..._previewed.php
It's a shame its EVF option is not very good. If you really need an EVF, and the G2 is not for you, a Pen is a better choice.

How soon will it be before interchangeable-lens cameras are TOO small? This seems to be today's race.
Pity about the EVF - the G2 one is great and I can't understand why Panasonic haven't developed their offering to at least compete with Olympus' VF2, which is excellent. I refuse to use my Pen without its EVF!Stephen

I guess that time will come when the "small" sensors are producing IQ at least well as fourthirds/aps-c sized sensors are today, although it will always be trade-off, expectations will change too.Originally posted by StephenL View PostHow soon will it be before interchangeable-lens cameras are TOO small? As striking and small as the GF2 is, once you put a kit zoom on it (or beyond), you're into the same size lens as you'd put on the GX bodies, i.e. quite big, taking away the overall smallness. Have you seen how out of proportion a Sony NEX is, even with the 16mm pancake on it?
For the GF2 to be small overall you have the pancakes, but you lose stabilisation, flexibility and you'd be into a multi-lens set up before you know it. Maybe hi-end compacts like Panasonic's LX5 and Canon's S95 are safe for a little while longer, the bodies are still just smaller than the GF2, but they have collapsible, fast and flexible lenses that go some way to counter the FT sensor in the GF2. I got the LX5 and love it, but I'm not just saying that, honest
Panasonic are covering the bases very well, you can see why a lot of people would adopt their line. Just like Canikon have bludgeoned Oly in the dSLR market, I hope Panasony don't do the same in system compacts. It would be a great shame, the PL1 with its stabilisation, popup flash, reasonable price and smaller/lighter zooms is a very strong product. It would be great to see Olympus competing with the LX5/S95/GF2 end of the market, maybe the rumoured fixed lens camera will be that product, lets hope its available soon.
