  • How did that happen??

So I go along to the Park Cameras Festival 2013 on Sat with half an eye on picking up an E-PL5 and wanting to get a feel for all the latested and greatest from the industry in general and what happens...

Within 15mins of being there I am in the checkout que paying for an OMD with a 12-50, its a strange world

As an aside I had a play with the Panasonic G6 and was really disapointed how it felt came over very plastic and that zoom toggle is just where I wanted the shutter button, hmm.

The OMD does feel good (could do with being 10% bigger ideally) but we will see what it can produce now

See if you can get the HLD-6 grip cheaply. It (the first part at least) makes all the difference.

        Cheers
Guess another m43 lens before the grip (unless oly allow me to swap my ever ready case)

        Something longer I think required

My last impulse buy was an OM4 when they first hit the UK, 1984 I think it was. That unreliable POS taught me a valuable lesson. Still, the OM-D had been out long enough for people to know about the issues with them.
