      You can get a screw on metal slotted hood for less than a tenner on eBay.

        Just check it doesn't show up in the photos.
        One I have is ok on the 17mm, but not on the 12mm.

          I bought the JJC clone for about a tenner. Same fitment. Would rather a more secure fitting but not complaining at the price I paid. The 17mm f1.8 is a lovely lens and reminds me in many ways of the old OM Zuiko primes.
