Does any one know?
How good is the current Metz SCA adapter in emulating the FL50 flashgun when used with the E-1 or E-3,
a four year old SCA3202 with a Metz 54 MZ-3 flashgun did not support the auto functions with the E-1.

I have a 44 MZ-2 which no longer works but when it did it was like the old FL 40 no FP this was with an E-1. I did here some where that the SCA 3202 was made with future upgrades in mind. I don't know if any have been made.

I have emailed the importers of Metz kit asking for information - so far no response - if I get any info I will post it here just in case it helps anyone else.
Thanks for finding the chart - from what I can see even the latest adapter only supports automatic flash - no TTL etc - ie minimal interaction with the camera so a very poor third cf the FL50. Pity really
Just had a reply from Metz confirming that I have a boat anchor:-
"Due to It's age the 54 MZ 3 is not compatible with the new Four Thirds
TTL system.
You will still be able to use it in Auto and Manual modes via the SCA
301 standard adapter.
For full TTL you will require the 54 MZ 4 I + SCA 3202 M6, or the 58 AF
1."
I bought a Metz 44 AF 4O for use with the E500. According to the web site it should work with the E510 and E3 too although I've not tried it having subsequently bought an FL50
