  • Printers.... again .....

I’m still looking at whether I want to buy a decent printer....

I’m looking at the Epson P600 which has the option of fitting roll paper.

If you have a paper roll fitted, can you print for example multiple 6x4 prints side by side to make max use of the paper or is it best to swap back and forth with pre cut papers?

4 inch roll paper is fine but because the rolls are fairly tightly wound than commercial size paper rolls the prints will be more curved than you might expect.

Ah, the printer is an A3+ and will take a 13" (or thereabouts) roll, so IF you splash out on a roll to do a few landscape/panoramas can you continue using it and run out several smaller prints side by side - or is it less faff to swap to pre-cut papers?

I'm not exactly sure what you mean; printing on roll paper and sheets at the same time?

If the roll is A3 width I can presumably print 2 A5 photos side by side on the roll? Or 4 A6?

Otherwise I think you have to load/unload the roll to change for smaller prints... I think...

EDIT: changed the print A numbers!
